What we recover

What Our Motorbike Recovery Service Covers

Bikes need different kit to cars. A chock, soft straps and the right ramp angle are the difference between a bike that arrives as it left and one that does not.

Sports Bikes & Supersports

Fairings, rear sets and low ground clearance handled with the right ramps and tie-down points, so nothing is cracked on the way up.

Call for bike recovery

Scooters, Mopeds & Commuters

50cc to 125cc commuters, maxi-scooters and delivery bikes, recovered from side streets, estates and city-centre bays.

Call the recovery line

Tourers, Cruisers & Big Twins

Heavier machines with panniers and top boxes, chocked and strapped so the weight is properly supported throughout.

Talk to a controller

Non-Runners & Project Bikes

Bikes with no keys, seized engines, flat tyres or no MOT, moved from a garage, a lock-up or a driveway.

Book a collection

Dropped & Damaged Bikes

Bikes that are not safe to ride after a spill, moved to a dealer, a workshop or your home address.

See accident recovery

Dealer, MOT & Track Moves

Planned collections and deliveries to dealerships, MOT appointments and track days, booked in advance.

Simple, fast, no fuss

How Our Motorbike Recovery Works

Four steps from the moment you call to the moment your bike is delivered. No apps, no membership, no waiting on hold.

1

Call Or WhatsApp

Ring the 24/7 recovery line or send a WhatsApp message. A real controller answers, not a queue.

2

Tell Us The Bike

Make, model and whether it rolls, steers and brakes. A photo sent over WhatsApp saves a lot of guessing.

3

We Confirm And Dispatch

We confirm the unit we are sending, the price and a realistic time, then head straight to you.

4

Chocked And Delivered

Your bike goes on a chock, is held on soft straps and is delivered to the address you give us.

Why riders call us

Why Choose Premier Recovery For Motorbike Recovery In London

We are a recovery operator, not a call centre selling your job on. When you ring, you speak to the people who send the truck — and that is why the answers you get are straight ones.

Soft Straps, Not Bars

Bikes are held on soft straps through proper tie-down points with the front wheel in a chock. No forks compressed for an hour, no scratched clip-ons.

Genuinely 24/7

Bikes go down on early commutes and late rides home. Our line is answered through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays.

Price Agreed Upfront

You are told what the recovery costs before we set off. No meters running, no surprise invoice at the kerbside.

Non-Runners Are Routine

No keys, seized engine, flat tyres or a snapped chain. If it will not roll, skates and a winch come with us.

London Based, UK Wide

Strong coverage across Greater London plus Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Devon, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Riders, Dealers & Clubs

Private riders, dealerships, independent workshops and track day organisers all use the same recovery line.

Every kind of bike problem

Bike Situations We Attend Every Day

If the bike is not safe to ride, it needs recovering. These are the calls that come in most often.

Will Not Start

Dead on the button, no crank, or turning over without firing. Common on bikes that have stood over winter.

Flat Battery

A jump start on scene where the battery will take one, and recovery where it will not.

Puncture Or Blowout

A tubeless plug is not always safe to ride on. If there is any doubt, the bike comes with us rather than limping home.

Out Of Fuel

Reserve runs out sooner than most riders expect. Emergency fuel delivered, or recovery if it will not restart.

Snapped Chain Or No Drive

A chain off the sprocket or a seized rear wheel means the bike will not roll safely. Skates go under it.

Dropped Or Damaged

Bent levers, cracked fairings and a bike that is not safe to ride away, even if the engine still runs.

Straight answers on price

What Affects The Cost Of A Motorbike Recovery

Every recovery is quoted individually, because no two jobs are the same. These are the five things a controller will ask about before giving you a price.

Distance

Where the bike is now and where it needs to end up.

Size & Weight

A 125 commuter and a fully loaded tourer are very different lifts.

Time Of Day

Overnight, weekend and bank holiday call-outs are priced differently.

Condition

Whether it rolls and steers, or needs skates and a winch.

Access

Lock-ups, basement bays and pedestrianised streets take longer.

No surprises. You get a clear figure on the phone before a unit is dispatched, and that is the figure you pay. If the job changes on arrival — a bike that will not roll, or an access problem nobody knew about — we tell you before we do anything, not afterwards.

Stay safe

What To Do If Your Bike Goes Down

On a bike you are far more exposed than a driver. Get yourself away from traffic first — the machine can wait.

  • Get yourself off the carriageway and behind a barrier before anything else
  • Only move the bike if you can do it safely and without entering a live lane
  • Leave the hazard lights on if the bike still has power
  • Keep your helmet and jacket on while you are anywhere near moving traffic
  • Photograph the bike and the scene if another vehicle was involved
  • Note your location — a marker post, junction number or what3words is ideal

Come off on a motorway?

Get behind the barrier and stay there, even if the bike is lying in a lane. Call 999 first so the lane can be closed, and do not try to drag the bike clear yourself. Once the scene is safe, call our recovery line and we will collect it.

Call The Recovery Line

Once you are safe, a controller will stay on the line and confirm what we are sending.

Common questions

Motorbike Recovery FAQs

The questions our controllers are asked most often. If yours is not here, ring the line and ask.

How do you secure a bike so it is not damaged?

The front wheel goes into a chock and the bike is held on soft straps through proper tie-down points, not ratchet straps over the handlebars. That stops the forks being fully compressed for the whole journey and keeps levers and paintwork out of harm.

Can you recover a bike that will not roll?

Yes. A seized rear wheel, a snapped chain or a bike that will not come out of gear is routine. Skates go under it and a winch brings it up the ramp.

Do you recover scooters and mopeds?

Yes. 50cc and 125cc commuters, maxi-scooters and delivery bikes are recovered as often as anything else, including from estates and city-centre parking bays.

I have no keys. Can you still move it?

Yes. Bikes with no keys, a locked steering head or a locked disc are moved regularly. Mention it when you call so the right equipment comes out with us.

Where will you take my bike?

Wherever you tell us — your home, your dealer, an independent workshop or a storage unit. If nobody will be there to receive it, let the controller know when you book.

Do you cover bike breakdowns at night?

Yes. The recovery line is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Out-of-hours call-outs are priced differently and you are told the figure before anything is dispatched.

I have come off. What should I do first?

Get yourself off the carriageway and behind a barrier. If you are hurt or the bike is lying in a live lane, call 999 first. Do not try to drag the bike clear of moving traffic yourself.

Can you collect a project bike from a lock-up or garage?

Yes. Bikes that have stood for years with flat tyres, no MOT and no fuel are collected regularly. Tell the controller about access, and about any steps or narrow doorways.

Do you move bikes long distance?

Yes. Single bikes are moved between cities, out to dealerships and to and from track days. Ask for a quote with both postcodes and we will price the run.

Do you offer accounts for dealers and workshops?

Yes. Dealerships, independent workshops and event organisers can arrange account terms. Ask the controller when you call.
